DAY 15 - Peace In The Midst Of Lockdown
Day 15
Read: John 20:19-23
Christ has destroyed the power of death through His work on the cross and His resurrecton. He is risen and He is with us. The disciples stayed behind locked doors in fear and isolaton afer Jesus was crucifed. The frst words Jesus spoke to them was, “Peace be with you” (John 20:19) And my peace I give unto you” (John 16:33). The Lord wants us to be in absolute peace and contentment. The word ‘Shalom’ implies absolute harmony, lacking nothing! www.newhopetv.org
In the midst of the Coronavirus situaton, Jesus tells us to be at peace. We live discouraged, disheartened, disconnected lives, lacking joy in our relatonships. But in Jesus, we are more than conquerors. We can live in peace and harmony.
During this tme of lockdown, may we refuse to show frustraton and biterness especially with our loved ones. In the peace that Jesus gives us, we can be victorious in every situaton. You need not be afraid because you can be at peace with the living God. He is always with you.
:: Prayer ::
Forgive us Lord and may Your peace rule in our hearts. In Jesus name. Amen.
